How to Always Love and Hope through Surfing and the Ocean, with Brandon Taylor

Friday surf was large. Buoy reading 9ft @ 9 Seconds with a heavy 15-25 MPH NE wind. Most the time in Florida we do not get power or size. Friday there was plenty of both. The water would bash up against the wall, at the secret spot, and you could ride a mini refraction wave out 20 – 30 feet. Whenever there is winter weather up north headed to toward Florida, we get quite excited to surf. Tuesday the winds finally slacked and turned offshore for the entire day! The winds whip from West to East creating the “glass” effect you see in the background from the photo of me getting shade from the sun rays. Wind, Chop, Glass, or Barrels there is Always Love and Hope in the ocean.

“When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning, by dreams that need completion, by pure love that needs expressing, then we truly live.” Always Love and Hope reminds me when I found this quote, by Greg Anderson. Kristina motivated me to be myself, to go to a random beach on an average Friday and realize, if you look closely enough your goals and dreams are only achievable if you peruse them. That day my goal was to surf an average evening session before my son Owen’s Little League game. Without rain there are no rainbows. Kristina was with me that session on the Treasure Coast, yes Mother Nature makes sure you know who is in charge, but Kristina led me into some amazing surf the evening.

Owen, Colbie and I all have Kristina stickers on our surfboards to remind us there is Always Love and Hope in the Ocean. Teaching them to learn from every sunrise and sunset. Sunrises and Rainbows, to me, have become synonymous for Kristina Conn and the MEANING OF LIFE. I will Always stay positive. I will teach my family how to Love. And, Hope is tough, but it is something we fight for every day. Proudly, May 25th, 2019 is Katie Conn’s due date with my 3rd child Kristina Ann Taylor and as a family we will keep growing, learn to let LET THE SEA SET YOU FREE.

MY FIRST VIDEO EDIT

The same time I found the first quote about truly living, I found the poem below. The author, unknown, but the poem may be popular on social media. Sunrise With Kristina was my first video edit and these quotes overlay in the video…AND IN LIFE…

My love for you knows no limits. It is timeless, space less, formless, unshakable and unbreakable. In good times and bad, happy and sad, through the highest highs and lowest of lows know that I am there with you. I will be your strength as you have been mine, desire your best and highest good to manifest itself in your life. I see you completely healed, whole and living the life you are loving, surrounded by so many who love you, just as you are. You are an unbelievable comfort, grace, wonder, inspiration, soul deep connection for which I will forever be grateful. Do not think for one second you are alone, for two hearts and souls joined together in friendship, for this life and in many past lives, forges an unbreakable bond that only grows stronger in time.

I love you.
