Gnarly Charley Surf Series had a huge turnout of groms surfing Saturday along with Pro Surfers Shea Lopez, Michael Dunphy, and Ben Lacy for an expression session! Michael took home the win at $100.
Groms from all over the state start their surfing careers with Gnarly Charley Hajek, and his series. Grom Ripper Ethan Harbinson came back to his roots with the Gnarly series and took home first place in the Junior Pro! Ethan has come along way surfing into ESA, NSSA, and other titles as a grom! He even surfed against the pros in their heat taking home 3rd place!
GoJuice and Jimmy Hula were also there to support the series and keep everyone refreshed during the competition!
Not to mention the waves were really fun! Here is a sequence of Shea backside. If you haven’t tried riding one of his boards, you’re missing out!
